This afternoon, The Black Crowes announced a new U.S. leg of its "Lay Down With Number 13" Tour. It begins on September 5 at the Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown, NY, and ends on December 14 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA. The tour will run for 29 dates and will include three days in Denver, CO, in mid-November.

The Crowes are currently on a co-headlining run with the Tedeschi Trucks Band. That tour, which starts today, runs until August 15. The band is also going to appear at Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport, CT, on July 28, and the Peach Music Festival in Scranton, PA, on August 18.

The new leg comes amidst a busy year for the Crowes, following their two year hiatus from 2010-2012. The band has been touring almost continuously since March, and released a live album on the 19th of that month.

What People Are Talking About

This week, people are talking about the "Best Song Ever," a "Full House" semi-reunion, and Kristen Wiig as Michael Jordan.

1D's "Best Song Ever"

Earlier this week, Directioners were super excited when One Direction's new single, "Best Song Ever," leaked a few days early. The song was set to come on July 22, and the band was even releasing daily video teasers culminating in a countdown until the song's release. With only five days to go, the song leaked online July 17. To be fair, the band had been teasing the song since they released the trailer for their 3D movie, "This Is Us," back in June. I doubt this will hurt sales even a little bit.
