February 2013 Events Image

Following a bit of a live events slump in January, February is where things really start to pick up in concerts, sports, and theater. In concerts, big-name acts like Elton John and Billy Joel will start new tours, as well as other fan-favorites, including John Legend, Demi Lovato, and Kanye West.

In sports, the NBA All-Star Weekend features several events, including a celebrity game headlined by comedians Kevin Hart and Nick Cannon. Similarly, the MLB Spring Training lets us know that the winter weather is almost over (finally!).

Lastly, in theater, Broadway begins to show new signs of life with two shows that will open — Bronx Bombers and The Bridges of Madison County — while other big shows start their previews in February.

The details are vague: it's a secret project; other "Seinfeld" characters are part of it; it's short, though longer than one minute; it'll air soon; and it was a one-time thing. My guess is maybe they filmed a Super Bowl commercial? So we'll have to wait until Sunday to see!
