A blizzard is forecast to hit the southern New England area of the United States from Friday to Saturday. Lots of snow and high winds will make driving very difficult at times on those two days. With that in mind, some bands and teams have begun postponing their events.

Keep in mind that this is by no means an exhaustive list. If you are planning to attend any kind of event in southern New England on Friday or Saturday, then check the website for the event, other outreach sources like Twitter and Facebook, and local media for news.

Broadway shows are ON for Saturday, according to the Broadway league's website. You can see some other theater updates below.

Concerts and Comedians

Bon Jovi - According to the band's Facebook page, their Saturday show has been rescheduled for Friday, October 25.

Marc Maron - According to the Wilbur Theatre website, comedian Marc Maron has rescheduled both his Friday shows in Boston, MA, for Saturday, March 30.

Daughtry and 3 Doors Down - The Friday show for these dual-headliner is postponed until Monday, February 11, according to the DCU Center's Twitter feed.

The Pink Floyd Experience - According to the CityStage and Symphony Hall's Facebook page, the Pink Floyd Experience show on Friday has been rescheduled to Monday, February 11.

Sevendust - According to the Sevendust's Twitter feed, their show Friday in Allentown, PA, has been rescheduled to a later date.

Colin Mochrie - According to the Bergen PAC's Twitter feed, his show in Englewood, NJ, scheduled for Friday has been postponed until Sunday, February 10.
