Do dog videos belong on entertainment blogs? Yes. Dog videos belong everywhere. Here's an especially cute one to get your Sunday morning going. Spencer the bulldog is paralyzed in his hind legs, so he's never actually been able to go for a walk. But that all changes with a pair of custom braces.
Sure, the Super Bowl hasn't happened yet, but there is no doubt in my mind that the above commercial isn't the cutest of them all. It has all the elements of a successful Super Bowl commercial:
- It's for a beer company.
- There's a puppy.
- No, multiple puppies.
- And then one extraordinarily cute puppy, who becomes BFFs with a horse.
What do you think? (I'm totally right, aren't I?)
While I can't say I'm exactly a fan of snow or winter (and I'm not sure any of us on the blog can, given our Battle of the Seasons posts), these dogs and cats definitely are. Check out the cute video above!
Those who sometimes enjoy tuning in to the Puppy Bowl during the Super Bowl (um, who doesn't?) received a nice surprise recently when it was announced that every cat lovers' dream would come true with the Kitten Bowl.
As any Puppy Bowl watcher might know, kittens were previously relegated to a darling half-time show, while puppies were the obvious star players during the actual game. Hallmark, however, decided this wasn't enough and announced the Kitten Bowl, to premiere for the first time during the 2014 Super Bowl.
As if that information wasn't enough, further details about the Kitten Bowl have emerged. For starters, a whopping 60-70 kittens will take part in the Kitten Bowl. (By comparison, the Puppy Bowl typically has around 40 puppies in it. But it also has kittens, so!) On top of that, Beth Stern, talk radio host Howard Stern's wife, will host the event, with Yankees radio announcer John Sterling giving the event's play-by-play.
Cat and dog lovers can finally live in peace.
I may have personally been indifferent toward Tegan and Sara before, but after watching this video, I officially have a soft spot for them. They released their official music video for their single, "Closer," way back in November 2012. Just recently, however, they decided to remake the video... with puppies.
It's an adorable, almost shot-for-shot remake of the original video, only this one is far superior (sorry) because it contains dogs. Check out their original video after the jump.
