Yesterday, up and coming alt rock band Imagine Dragons announced the final leg of its first major Night Visions Tour. Entitled Into the Night, the leg will consist of more than 20 concerts during February and March. The tour begins on February 8 at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, ID, and ends on March 15 in Denver, CO.
The final dates will cap off what has been a whirlwind year and a half for the Las Vegas, NV-based band, starting with its first major label release, the EP Continued Silence in February 2012. After taking to the talk show and festival circuit during the summer of 2012, Imagine Dragons released its first studio album, Night Visions that September, and followed up with the supporting tour in January.
See below for U.S. tour dates, and visit the Imagine Dragons page for more information on tickets.
I have a 45 minute commute into work, sometimes longer, in my really old car, with no iPod hookup. To say I get tired of the Top 40 hits on the radio would be a severe understatement. So I always love when those hits are re-imagined in a new way that make me love listening to the song again. (That’s also part of what makes YouTube so great.) Here are a few of my favorites!
Suit and Tie
I’m pretty sure I post about Justin Timberlake almost as much as I post about Beyonce, so he’s obviously on my list of people I like. It hasn’t gotten too much radio play that I know of, at least not on the stations I’m listening to, so I haven’t gotten sick of the song just yet. Still, I think YouTube’s Tori Kelly does a pretty great cover of the song!
