OMG Y'ALL BEYONCE REALLY IS PREGNANT (AGAIN). There have been rumors she might be, especially after she unexpectedly had to cancel one of her tour dates due to "exhaustion," which loosely translates to "something we don't want to say" in celebrity world.
But I was skeptical because I thought it was kind of poor timing given her Mrs. Carter World Tour. Also I expected to receive a personal phone call announcing the news, were it true.
Neither Jay-Z nor Beyonce have officially confirmed that this is true. It's all still speculative, but E! claims it has "multiple" sources saying Baby Number 2 is totally happening. While I'm usually pretty against believing rumors that only credit anonymous sources, I sort of believe it this time because Jay-Z and Beyonce are the same people who never even confirmed they were a couple until after they were married.
Do you think she's pregnant? If so, what do you think that'll mean for her tour? And do you think she'll announce it as adorably as she did with Blue Ivy (see video above)? I'm holding out for some kind of Beyonce parade where the final float is actually a ginormous 50-foot balloon of Beyonce's likeness with a pregnant belly.
Yay! I get to mention Beyonce in this week’s post because we’re talking about…
Jay-Z and Beyonce in Cuba
Jay and Bey simply cannot catch a break. The couple recently vacationed in Cuba to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. But they immediately came under fire from legislators (and the general public) who questioned how and why they were able to visit a country the U.S. restricts its citizens from traveling to. Rather than release a statement, Jay-Z released a new song, "Open Letter," to tackle criticisms. I wouldn’t have it any other way. (The video, above, features the clean version of the song, with the unedited version available on YouTube.) Everyone was talking about the song following its release — even White House representatives, who issued a formal response.
In case you were worried that the buzz surrounding Beyonce was beginning to fade, fear not: the R&B singer announced earlier today that she was pregnant, with triplets!
Though she and Jay-Z have confirmed they are expecting three girls sometime in late July/early August, she’s not visibly showing just yet — a near miracle for a woman who is allegedly somewhere around four months along, and carrying three babies.
“It’s so hard for everyone to believe she’s having triplets, especially with a tour coming up,” April Sciocchi, celebrity columnist, said. “And she looks fantastic! It’s almost as if she’s not pregnant at all.”
However, Beyonce said she’ll prepare for her soon-to-be baby bump by releasing a maternity line called Chiste. Clothes from said line will be available at the merchandise stands at her concerts.
That’s right — Beyonce confirmed she’ll continue with her upcoming tour, with one caveat: she'll change the name to "I Am… Pregnant World Tour," a homage to one of her previous albums. E! cameras will be following the star around on her tour in order to document the latter half of her pregnancy. It will culminate in a Kardashian-like reality show, a twist for the couple who began their relationship so secretively. Curious what they'll name their girls?

Earlier this week, Beyonce and her 1-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, were spotted in Brooklyn. In case you were wondering, yes, Blue Ivy is as adorable as you’d imagine her to be. But she's also intelligent. Beyonce told Oprah that Blue Ivy was "very smart" and already reading flashcards.
With an R&B queen for a mom and a rap mogul for a dad, Blue Ivy will likely go on to do amazing things. Toss in the fact that she’s a 1-year-old that can read and she’ll probably take over the world. Is it weird to consider what a celebrity baby might someday grow up and do with her life? Probably. But oh well, here are some careers baby Blue Ivy might someday consider:
Obviously musical talent runs in the family, so she may want to dabble in the careers her mom and dad did. It’s not weird for kids to sometimes follow in their parents’ footsteps. If she’s lucky, her musical genius will come from both her mom and her dad, so not only would bring a room to tears with just her voice, but she could also rhyme circles around rappers in her generation. Like Kanye’s baby. Just kidding, they would totally collaborate, and then no one would ever be able to make music again because the pinnacle of music will have been reached.
Last week Crystal reported on the news that Justin Timerlake had announced an upcoming tour. Well now the details are here, and it turns out he's pairing up with Jay-Z. I guess that should have been obvious when the two performed together at The Grammys, but now it's confirmed. The Legends of Summer Tour will begin on July 17 and end on August 16.
As it's currently scheduled, Legends of Summer is pretty short, but I wouldn't be surprised if more dates were added due to demand, because it's Justin Timberlake and he hasn't toured in six years. Jay-Z, meanwhile, toured last year, but I'm pretty sure he'll enjoy high demand, too.
The U.S. dates are below. Click here to find an upcoming concert and place an order for tickets.
