In a his new music video "Mirrors," Justin Timberlake takes his fans on a deep and personal journey, and in doing so, gives them a glimpse into the singer’s private emotional world.

Taken from 20/20 Experience, his first album since 2006, "Mirrors" is both a tribute to his grandparents and an examination of his own life and journey into love.

"For William and Sadie"

The video opens with a simple but elegant black-on-white cursive script that reads “For William and Sadie,” Timberlake’s grandfather and grandmother, who were married for 63 years before William passed away in 2012.

An image of a young woman, crying and distressed in a bedroom, is flashed briefly and then replaced by an elderly woman in the same bedroom. Behind the old woman is an old man, unseen to her, who mirrors every physical gesture she makes.

As the man is dressed totally in black and invisible to the woman, the viewer can presume he has died and she is mourning his passing in the bedroom they shared.

Justin Timberlake is pretty much on fire after selling nearly 1 million records his first week (almost unheard of these days) and planning what’s arguably one of the biggest tours of the summer with Jay-Z.

On the heels of his latest single, "Mirrors," he announced that following the Legends of Summer tour, he’ll head back out on the road, sans Jay-Z, for a fall tour.

His manager said, "Yeah. Probably he’ll go out sometime in the fall. We haven’t routed that yet or figured out what cities we’re going to play. I know we’ll start in North America first. But again, our focus is getting the album out and getting the Jay/Justin piece done. And I would say sometime in April/May we’ll announce when Justin is going to put his own solo tour out."

I take that "probably" and argue it's a "needs to happen, and likely will." I should totally be his manager.

I have a 45 minute commute into work, sometimes longer, in my really old car, with no iPod hookup. To say I get tired of the Top 40 hits on the radio would be a severe understatement. So I always love when those hits are re-imagined in a new way that make me love listening to the song again. (That’s also part of what makes YouTube so great.) Here are a few of my favorites!
