DMBWe all know these people, the superfans. The ultimate band enthusiasts who follow their favorite groups on tour or see them as many times as humanly possible on the rare occasion they hit the road, willing to mortgage houses and max out credit cards because each show might be The Show. (And if you ask them, each show IS The Show. “You shoulda been there, maaaan.”) Now, these superfans also tend to have a strange and obnoxious shared habit of, how shall I say, overly familiar address of their chosen icon. That is, they call their favorite musicians by their first names.

Justin Timberlake Adds Dates to North American Tour

Concert news

After an already-successful North American run, Justin Timberlake has this morning announced additional dates to his tour. The 20/20 Experience will now include a return to cities such as Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. The new shows begin in late November and stop just before the winter holidays on Dec. 20.

The new shows will push Timberlake's tour past the one-year mark; he began this world tour on Nov. 6, 2013, in New York City. These dates come after a stint of dates across Europe and in Australia.

Justin Timberlake Adds Dates to 20/20 Experience World Tour

Concert news

Hot off of the announcement that he'd been selected as one of GQ's Men of the Year, Justin Timberlake announced this morning that he'd extend his 20/20 Experience World Tour with several additional 2014 summer dates.

Timberlake began the 20/20 Experience World Tour Nov. 6. He'll visit cities across North America through March 2014, when he'll head overseas for a brief European leg. In July 2014, Timberlake will return to North America for 14 shows.

With the winter holidays creeping up on us, so, too, will the holiday shows. This month, Christmas and winter-themed productions come in the form of theater shows like Elf and White Christmas and concerts like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. In sports, November is the first full month in the NBA season, and there are several WWE events to choose from.

Pop Star Comebacks

As we mentioned earlier this week, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have released new music to kick off their returns to the world of pop music. One of their singles, "Applause" and "Roar," will likely oust "Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke from the Billboard Hot 100 next week. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake took to Instagram to release the entire track list for the second half of "The 20/20 Experience." Some of his new songs include "True Blood," "Cabaret," and "Murder." Justin Timberlake also announced some new fall dates for his tour. More Justin Timberlake = happy world.
