In case you were suffering from Bieber withdrawal, you won't be in pain for much longer. Today Biebs announced the schedule for his Believe Tour, to go along with the release of Believe, his newest album which will drop on June 19. The tour, which begins September 29, is bringing Bieber back to North America for the first time since the end of 2010. Forty-six shows are currently scheduled for Believe through the end of January 2013. Carly Rae Jensen will join the tour as a special guest.

Though he hasn't been on tour in North America since 2010, Bieber has been busy nonetheless. When he's not having his every movement tracked by the media and fans (both would benefit from this flowchart from last year), he's been working. Last year he brought his previous My World Tour to South America, Europe, and Asia. He also released his second full album, Under the Mistletoe, in November.

The U.S. dates are below. Visit the Justin Bieber tickets page to place an order.

Happy birthday, TN Team Blog!

Happy birthday TN Team blog!

Exactly one year ago today, the TN Team Blog was born. So today we're celebrating the blog's first birthday in our offices with cookies AND brownies (for the full debate, see here). In addition, we wanted to take a look back at some of our favorite posts over the past year. Enjoy!

Liz's Favorite: "Funny Flowchart: Do you have Bieber Fever?"

This was Tim's masterpiece way back in June. Not sure if you have the fever? You need this quiz.

Tim's Favorite: "Showdown: Crazy Ballpark Food vs. the Nutritionist"

This was one of our very first posts. Tim and I are still trying to plan a road trip to go get some delicious pulled pork pierogi stackers.

Mike's Favorite: "Athletes in local commercials = embarrassing"

"I have a video production background, so my love for this post comes mainly from the Larry Bird commercial. As you might know, Larry is standing in front of a blue screen, which is used to create a background behind a person while they're speaking or acting. I like to imagine that the producers intended to use the screen to show some kind of snazzy imagery while Bird was giving his endorsement, but weren't able to get it to work on the day of production. They had Larry booked, though, so they couldn't change the shoot location on such short notice. The other commercials featured have just as much fail to them; that dance scene in the Odgen spot is just so random." — Mike

Allison's Favorite: "Video: 5 Cyber Monday shopping tips"

"This special video blog post has everything: Action, intrigue, heartbreak, crates of pears. So even though I really enjoy looking at pictures of Jimi Hendrix in a fanny pack, I'd have to say that the Cyber Monday blog post is my all-time-favorite from the past year." — Allison

Danielle's Favorite: "Bring Back the Pack: A not-so-true history of the fanny pack"

"I especially liked the post about the not-so-true history of the fanny pack because it was hilarious! The images of famous (or infamous) historical figures wearing fanny packs cracked me up!" — Danielle

Erin's Favorite: "These funny Bruins commercials will make you a Bruins fan"

"These are hilarious commercials that appeal to both hockey and non-hockey fans. Gotta love it. Close runners-up: 'Bring Back the Pack: Awesome fanny packs photo gallery' (come on, obviously just because it's awesome and the pics are funny...and you know I'm a life-long fanny pack supporter) and 'What people are talking about this week: One Direction' (as much as I wanted to hate them, I somehow am now their fan club president...not literally, but you know what I mean)." — Erin

What's your favorite post from our first year? And how long do YOU think a blog-year is? Tell us in the comments!

What people are talking about this week: One Direction

If you haven't heard of One Direction yet, you've probably been living under a rock in the Arctic. One Direction is a ridiculously popular boy band from the United Kingdom, who first got noticed as finalists of The X Factor in 2010. Now that they've signed with Simon Cowell, released a #1 single and become the first UK group in history to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with their first album, everyone is talking about them.

One Direction just arrived in NYC ahead of their appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, setting off a whole new flurry of discussion. Earlier this week the group just announced a show at Madison Square Garden late in 2012, and rumor has it that Justin Bieber is doing some collaboration with the group. We even talked at length about One Direction on our blog this week, as the group leapt to #2 on our list of March's top-selling concerts. And alongside the real news this week are posts about the best One Direction photos of the day.

It will be interesting to see just how big this thing gets. What do you think? Are they the next Beatles? (And seriously, if you've never heard of them, at least watch the music video above so you can pretend to know things.)

Best Katy Perry moments—Mohegan Sun, June 25, 2011

Katy Perry on a swing

Katy Perry has been one of my favorite artists for a while, but I’d never seen her in concert until this past weekend. I’d heard mixed reviews: either she would be amazing or terrible. Turns out, the concert was pretty great overall, but there were five moments that stuck out as the best of the night. Check them out below.

  • Multiple costume changes: I counted 16 different costumes throughout the two hour concert, but the most impressive part was during “Hot and Cold,” when she changed about six times during the song. It was kind of like a magic show, but with pop music.
  • Justin Bieber dig: At one point KP asked for a guy to volunteer to come up on stage, and one guy happily obliged…until she told him he’d have to leave his shirt in his seat. He chickened out, and she quickly got another volunteer. But the best part was as she was thanking the second guy for being a good sport and being way cooler than that “Justin Bieber wannabe.” You could tell this was an off-the-cuff comment, meaning Katy’s pretty funny on her own.
  • Katy Perry peacock
  • Beatlemania girl: You know those videos of Beatles concerts where teenage girls are screaming and fainting because they can’t control their excitement? I had never seen it in person until one song when Katy brought a bunch of fans onstage to dance. One girl had her hands over her mouth the whole time, and two or three times suddenly ran over to give Katy a hug. It was adorable, and Katy took it in stride (instead of, you know, calling security).
  • FB update pic: This is the part where I realized Ms. Perry was a really cool person. After she brought fans onstage, she picked one and let her take a picture of the two of them for her Facebook profile, even making sure it was a good picture and letting her take a few extras to make sure everything came out ok. She was very gracious and down-to-earth with her fans.
  • Fireworks
  • Girl with glittery shoes: Okay, this has nothing to do with Katy Perry besides the fact that it took place at her concert, but one girl walking by told my friend he’d clearly forgotten to bring his glittery shoes, pointing to her own bright silver, sparkly shoes. I liked the shoes, and also the look on my friend’s face as he tried to come up with an appropriate comeback.
