Tonight, country superstar Luke Bryan is kicking off his 2015 Farm Tour, putting on performances at eight farms across the Midwest and Southeastern United States through October 10th. Here at TicketNetwork we figured there was no better way to honor this unique tour than with a list of the top 10 farm animals.

10. Cats

Let’s be honest, cats being considered farm animals is a stretch. Farm cats are just more of a non-essential accessory. Sort of like buying a car with a spoiler; the spoiler serves no function at all (unless you have a high-end sports or race car), but can help complete the look of your ride, the same as a cat can complete the look of your farm.

After some time off, Luke Bryan will soon continue his “That’s My Kind of Night Tour,” with fellow country music stars, Randy Houser and Dustin Lynch. The fourth leg of Bryan’s tour, which kicks off on February 10th and ends on February 21st will make stops in Grand Rapids, MI, Evansville, IN, Louisville KY, Estero, FL, as well as two shows in Orlando, FL.

The “That’s My Kind of Night Tour,” where you can find tickets for here, is in support of his latest album, “Crash My Party” which debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts when it was released in August of 2013.

On this leg of the tour, where the average selling ticket price was $117, Bryan will be performing hits from the album such as, “Crash My Party” and “That’s My Kind of Night,” as well as many more well-known songs. The“That’s My Kind of Night Tour,” which began in January 2014, will wrap up in Dublin, Ireland on March 8 of this year, after completing a total of 80 shows across North America and Europe.

It will be a busy weekend, with a mixed bag of ticket onsales from pop musicians, country artists, sporting events, and Broadway shows. Several baseball teams, including Indians, White Sox, Rays, and Astros have tickets onsale for their regular games. In theater, big-name shows like Wicked and The Book of Mormon have onsales for their respective U.S. tours.

But it's really concerts that dominate this weekend. Several popular performers will have onsales this weekend, including Katy Perry, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, James Taylor, and Billy Joel. Plus, a few tours will join the lot at right, including:

  • Dierks Bentley, with shows in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; and Phoenix, AZ going on sale for his Riser Tour 2014
  • Hall & Oates, with six onsales scattered on the East Coast
  • Tegan and Sara, who have 10 onsales for their Let's Make Things Physical Tour
  • James Blunt, with two shows in Riverside, CA and one in Englewood, NJ
  • Panic At The Disco's The Gospel Tour, with 28 shows

In addition, numerous country acts will have ticket onsales this weekend. Jason Aldean adds a show in Birmingham, AL, to his 2014 Burn It Down Tour; Tim McGraw will have three onsales for his Sundown heaven Town Tour 2014; and Willie Nelson has a few additional onsales for his joint tour with Allison Krauss, as well as a few dates for solo shows beginning in August.

Then, of course, there's Luke Bryan, who will be adding two onsales to his tour. While that's not especially notable, it is interesting that Bryan consistently shows up in's weekly onsales posts because he keeps adding new shows to his 2014 That's My Kind of Night Tour. No doubt part of this is because the demand to see Bryan perform live is high.

Last year, Bryan ranked as the second best-selling event on — above One Direction, The Eagles, and George Strait. And he clearly shows no signs of stopping. Bryan's 2014 tour is currently scheduled to go through October 25... in addition to the new EP he's planning to release on March 11, which will provide all-new material for his live sets. For Bryan, this weekend's onsales are likely only the beginning.

Out with the old and in with the new. We're another year down, and it's just about time to look ahead to the coming months. However, as we settle into 2014, let's take a moment to see what happened in terms of ticket sales at in 2013.

As it turns out, for me at least, there are few surprises in the overall Top 10 list:

Indeed, this list looks very familiar for anybody who has followed the monthly Top 10 lists over the past year. First, thanks to some very affordable tickets, and a never-dampening enthusiasm for its popular circus show, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey circus has the top spot in the overall Top 10. Earlier this year, the show spent three straight months in the number spot. It was also #1 in March. Even when it wasn't number one, it was almost always near the top, usually in the second position.

The Dallas Cowboys — known as "America's Team" — starts the season with the Hall of Fame game, Cowboys vs. Dolphins, on Aug. 4. Although officials say Quarterback Tony Romo won't play in the July 30 game, he said he wished he was. This comes after Romo had to undergo surgery to remove a cyst on his back back in May.

Meanwhile, both the St. Louis Rams and Cleveland Browns start their preseason games by playing each other on Aug. 8.

In concerts, Luke Bryan will stop at the Watershed Festival on Aug. 2. Then he heads on the road for his Dirt Road Diaries tour, which begins Aug. 8 in Wheatland, CA. His tour dates in Nashville and Cincinnati, concerts that take place in the fall, go on sale this weekend.
