With less than a week to go until the NFC and AFC championship games, ticket sales for the two on the exchange are at the lowest levels they've been in the past four years*. As you can see on the graph below, the sales trend has been downward for the past few years, but this year is particularly bad for the two. Whereas normally the NFC game sells moderately well, it has been performing worse year after year, and in 2015 it is only selling about as well as the AFC game. The AFC game was improving in sales for a few years until now. All in all, sales for both games are down 55% from the same period of time last year and down 68% from 2012.

Major onsales this week: NFC wild card, Spring Training, Wicked

It's another light week for on sales, but there are a few things going on.

  • The NFC wild card matchup between the Washington Redskins and the Seattle Seahawks is on Sunday. Tickets for the game go on sale today.
  • This Friday the Detroit Pistons have more home games on sale Friday.
  • Next Monday there will be several Spring Training games on sale for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch in Phoenix this coming February and March.
