So yesterday we had quite a debate around the office about whether Transformers count as superheroes or not. It even came up in our team meeting, and the discussion got quite heated, with no clear winner.
So we decided to take the debate to our blog and let you all weigh in. Tim and Mike both fought hard for their sides, so below you can see each of their arguments. Once you've decided which side of the line you fall on, take our poll and let us know whether YOU think Transformers should count as superheroes. And if you would like to expand upon your answer, tell us why you chose what you did in the comments. Let the debate begin!

Oh Punxsutawney Phil, why would you do this to me?
For those who have not found out yet, P. Philly (my new nickname for him) saw his shadow today, which apparently means that we will now have to suffer through a long winter. I don't know about you, but I do not want six more weeks of winter. No more snow, no more cold weather, no more short days and no more slipping on ice. Come on, Punxy Brewster (another new nickname, I'm still working out the kinks), you know that you want the warmer weather too!
According to the always reliable Wikipedia, Funky Punxy (ok, i'll stop now) is correct with his prediction only 39% of the time. So we have that going for us.
Below is a classic scene from the movie "Groundhog Day" starring the always-funny Bill Murray, a movie that everyone should check out if they have a chance. (Disclaimer: I do not condone the eating of groundhogs; it gives can give you paranoia to the point that you are afraid of your own shadow.)

Halloween is only ten days away! Right now many of you are probably finalizing your costumes (or buying them). Then it will be time for trick-or-treating, celebrations, and lot and lots of sugar.
Let's take a moment to compare the holiday's most famous characters.

If you don't have anything to do on or near Halloween, or are looking for another activity, then check out the Halloween-themed events we have listed. Vampire-lovers, there are also a handful of vampire-themed shows. Sorry, werewolf fans, there is nothing specifically about werewolves right now.
October begins tomorrow and you know what that means. That's right, it's time for another live events preview! This time our preview comes complete with a snazzy new graphic.
October is famous for hosting the final days of Germany's Oktoberfest (it ends on the 3rd), Columbus Day on October 10th, and Halloween on the 31st, but so much more is observed during the month! Did you know that it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Adopt a Shelter Dog Month? Both are important causes. Or did you know that October 3 is Virus Appreciation Day? I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to appreciate viruses. Maybe I can acknowledge that's it's just about the start of the flu season and prepare for it.
With autumn upon us, things will be a-changin'. The color of the leaves, the decorations on people's homes, and the overall festive attitude as we get towards the end of the month. But one thing that won't change is the fact that live events are still running! So let's see what's happening in October.
