If this cutie doesn't melt your heart, I don't know what to tell you. This video of 2-year-old Claire wishing her mom a happy birthday is somehow irrisistibly adorable while also kind of being a little sad. You have to watch to get the full effect!
Here's what Claire's dad, Dan, told Good Morning America about the video:
"Usually my wife's birthday is a pretty big deal, so I try to do something new... I sat her down in the living room and we had a conversation for about 40 minutes... About Mommy and toys and food... I started talking about when Mommy's not here... I said, 'She works so hard, doesn't she?' She was like, 'Mommy works so hard,' almost on the verge of tears and I was on the other side of the camera in the living room like, 'Oh my goodness.' It just poured out."
Dan said mom loved the gift, but we already kind of knew she would.
Okay, I'll admit it: I obviously have a soft spot for little kids doing awesome things, but seriously, this is adorable. 3-year-old Kalee Buetow can not only name all of the Seattle Seahawks players, but knows what position they play and their jersey numbers. On top of that, she's got the sweetest little voice ever. According to an interview a local news station did with Kaylee, the reason she knows so much about the Seahawks is "Because I love them. Go Hawks!"
A few weeks ago, we directed you to an adorable 6-year-old break dancer. This week, an 11-year-old dancing to Lady Gaga's song "Applause" is so good, we kind of need him to star in Gaga's next video. Can she please make that happen?
These little kids are having such a great time trying to blow out their candles and making a total mess of their cake. How come it's no longer acceptable to eat cake with your hands? How come no one buys us individual cakes anymore? Man, those were the days. The messy, messy days.
