Jimmy Kimmel's Halloween Prank

Source: YouTube.com

Each year, Jimmy Kimmel asks his viewers to prank their kids by telling them they ate all of their Halloween candy. And each year, the videos totally deliver. The reactions from the kids range from complete and total meltdown to a sheepish grin and a, "That's okay!" Sure, it may be kind of evil for adults to trick their kids, but it's all in good fun.

Daniel Radcliffe Raps

You know Danielle Radcliffe can act, but did you also know he could rap? He can. And he's not bad, actually. While promoting his new movie "Horns", Radcliffe stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he and Jimmy started talking about rap music. Radcliffe — who said he's a big rap fan — decided to show off some of his skills by rapping Blackalicious' "Alphabet Aerobics" (definitely not the easiest song he could have chosen). Radcliffe's ability to rap was pretty surprising, and had everyone thinking something along the lines of, "Nice job, Harry Potter!"

Taylor Swift Releases White Noise

Taylor Swift fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of her new album, 1989, which is set to be released Oct. 27. Taylor has been casually releasing teasers from some of the album's songs, including track names, lyrics, and straight up releasing new songs (which are, apparently, about Harry Styles from One Direction). So things have been happening for T. Swift fans, which is why people got really, really excited when a new song popped up on iTunes simply called "Track 3." Without even bothering to preview the song, thousands of fans purchased the single... only to find out that the track was actually 8 seconds of white noise. Naturally, the song reached number 1 on iTunes in Canada.

World Series

This week, the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants advanced to the World Series. While the Giants have played in the World Series several times in recent memory, including two wins (in 2010 and 2012), the Royals haven't made it to the World Series since their 1985 win. So, you know, it's been a while, which means Royals fans are pretty excited about their team's victory, including Paul Rudd. Rudd, who was at Wednesday's game, was interviewed by reporters and said he'd be celebrating by throwing a party at his mom's. If you're not a Royals or Giants fan, then that party at Paul Rudd's mom's house is probably the most exciting thing about this news.

Pluto

It's been eight years since Pluto had its status downgraded from "ninth planet" to "joke." (Okay, actually, it was called a "dwarf planet," but you know.) Well, Pluto might just be having the best week ever because some researchers at Harvard have said nah, Pluto, you're totally a planet. The researchers wrote, "Even though a dwarf fruit tree is still a small fruit tree, and a dwarf hamster is still a small hamster." I think it's pretty solid logic. There's no official ruling saying that Pluto actually is a planet, but this does open up the debate once more; it's possible that sometime in the future, Pluto will regain its status as "planet," and I'm just sad that "Psych" is no longer on air to discuss it.
