On the Run Tour

The world collectively lost its mind this week when the Jay Z and Beyonce tour rumors came true. The duo will head out on a summer stadium tour called On The Run. It's reminiscent of how Jay Z spent last summer co-headlining a short stadium tour with Justin Timberlake — only this time, IT'S BEYONCE. What songs will they sing? How many will they sing together? What will their separate sets include? I have so many questions, and I am convinced this will be one of the greatest tours ever. Are you as excited for the tour as I am? If so, be sure to get your tickets!

Jordin Tootoo

Athletes being super cute with little kids is THE BEST, which is why this video of hockey player Jordin Tootoo and a young fan is so great. As Tootoo — who plays with the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Red Wings' AHL affiliate — heads to the locker room, an adorable fan yells, "Tootoo!" Without hesitation, the player hands over his hockey stick and says, "That's all yours." According to an article that ran in the Grand Rapids Press, Tootoo "has a reputation as a tough hockey player," but he clearly knows how to treat his young fans. Adorable!

Mrs. Doubtfire 2

In Parts-Of-Your-Childhood-That-Refuse-To-Die news, it was announced this week that a "Mrs. Doubtfire" sequel is in the works. While Matthew Lawrence said he would actually be up for it, Mara Wilson — who you may remember as the star of "Matilda" as well as the youngest daughter in "Mrs. Doubtfire" — has already said she's NOT interested in being involved with the sequel. Most interestingly, Robin Williams will allegedly be involved (because what would a "Mrs. Doubtfire" film be without its main character?). It's hard to fathom how or what they'll do in the sequel, but maybe they'll take a page out of the "horror-film" version of the "Mrs. Doubtfire" trailer (see video above) and go that route.

Colbert is the New Letterman (Only Better)

Comedian, political satirist, and television host Stephen Colbert will replace Dave Letterman as the new host of CBS's "The Late Show." Colbert, who signed a five-year contract, will take over in 2015, so there's some time to mourn the loss of "The Colbert Report." Yes, we'll have to say goodbye not just to the Comedy Central show, but also to his Fox News alter ego. Of the new position, Colbert said, "Simply being a guest on David Letterman's show has been a highlight of my career. I never dreamed that I would follow in his footsteps, though everyone in late night follows Dave's lead. I'm thrilled and grateful that CBS chose me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go grind a gap in my front teeth." Congrats!

Bill Murray's Bucket List

Although it's usually The Jimmys of Late Night (what I've started calling them) that get attention, this week, Dave Letterman made headlines. First, the host of "Late Show with Dave Letterman" announced his retirement in 2015. Then there's this sketch with Bill Murray, who dropped by the program to chat about his bucket list. On it? To meet Lady Gaga. The entire audience was then invited to see her show, which is pretty fantastic.
