Week 10 Power Rankings

You may or may not have noticed that there were no power rankings last week, which was because, well, we had no power. No worries, though, because we are back with the Week 10 NFL Game Power Rankings which are led by games featuring rivals from the NFC North.

At the top is the game between the Minnesota Vikings and the yet-to-be-beaten Green Bay Packers. While the Vikings have not exactly been a great team this year (a 2-6 record with the 4th worst passing offense), the team already played the Packers tough earlier this season, losing 33-27. The pressure will be a little greater on the Vikings and their rookie QB Christian Ponder this week with the game taking place on Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

Just behind the Vikes and Packers is the match-up of fellow NFC North teams, the Lions and Bears. The Lions sit at 6-2 and are trying to keep pace with the Packers leading up to their Thanksgiving Day battle.

This week's slate of games has plenty to love for any NFL fan, as no team is on their bye week. Without further ado, here are the Week 10 Power Rankings:

1. Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings

Average Ticket Price: $240.82

They probably should just start etching Packers QB Aaron Rodgers’ name into the MVP trophy now, because no player has been as great as Rodgers this season, throwing for 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions.

2. Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

Average Ticket Price: $210.14

Detroit was able to beat Chicago once already this season, thanks to 163 yards rushing from Jahvid Best. Luckily for the Bears, Best is likely out for this week's game.

3. New York Jets vs. New England Patriots

Average Ticket Price: $168.72

The Patriots have not looked like the Patriots of old the past few weeks, losing to the Giants and the Steelers. The Jets can smell the blood in the water and will be looking to surpass the Pats in the standings with a win on Sunday night.

4. Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals

Average Ticket Price: $145.17

2011 has not exactly been the season that the Eagles had hoped for after dropping to 3-5 following a loss to the Bears. Luckily for them, by all accounts an eagle would win in a fight with a cardinal any day of the week.

5. Dallas Cowboys vs. Buffalo Bills

Average Ticket Price: $130.67

The Bills looked outmatched last week vs. the Jets and their schedule does not make things any easier for them. The team plays their next three games on the road, starting this week in Big D.

6. San Diego Chargers vs. Oakland Raiders

Average Ticket Price: $123.84

It seems like just yesterday that the Chargers were 4-1 and everyone had them pegged as a legit Super Bowl contender. But after three straight losses and struggles from QB Philip Rivers and TE Antonio Gates, the team needs to rebound quickly just to make the playoffs.

7. Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

Average Ticket Price: $121.64

On the other extreme from the Chargers, the Falcons started the season 2-3 and many began to write them off as disappointments. Three wins later, the dirty birds have a chance to take over first place in the NFC South with a win over the Saints.

8. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Average Ticket Price: $115.30

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, predicted that the Bengals would be 6-2 at the halfway point of the season. This weekend's game vs. the Steelers will be a litmus test to see just how good Cincinnati really is.

9. Seattle Seahawks vs. Baltimore Ravens

Average Ticket Price: $91.40

It seems one week Ravens QB Joe Flacco is blowing a game with an interception, while the next week he leads a game-winning drive as he did last week vs. the Steelers. I can only assume the Seahawks are hoping for the bad Flacco this week.

10. San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants

Average Ticket Price: $89.76

The 49ers are in complete control of the NFC West Division at 7-1 (the Seahawks and Cardinals are tied for second at 2-6), and now can turn their focus to getting a first round bye in the playoffs. Beating one of their main competitors for that spot, the Giants, would go a long way in doing that.

11. Carolina Panthers vs. Tennessee Titans

Average Ticket Price: $82.38

The Panthers have something special in Cam Newton and the Titans better look out because, at 2-6, the Panthers have nothing to lose and will give Newton the green light to let it fly on Sunday.

12. Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Average Ticket Price: $73.59

The Colts are now in the driver's seat in the "Suck for Luck" campaign as the only winless team left in the NFL. Hopefully they don't go do something stupid like win against the Jaguars this weekend.

13. Miami Dolphins vs. Washington Redskins

Average Ticket Price: $72.00

Miami did not look like a winless team last week when they dominated the Chiefs 31-3. Now they need to keep that momentum going against a clearly struggling Redskins team.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Houston Texans

Average Ticket Price: $66.31

The Buccaneers need a win this week if they hope to keep pace in the NFC South, but with the Texans and their two-headed running attack of Arian Foster and Ben Tate coming to town, it won't be easy.

15. Cleveland Browns vs. St. Louis Rams

Average Ticket Price: $60.69

If there is one game on the schedule I would immediately turn off if it came on television, it would be this one. The only thing worth watching is Rams running back Steven Jackson, who has amassed 359 yards and 3 TDs in his last three games.

16. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos

Average Ticket Price: $55.32

Apparently watching Tim Tebow isn't very exciting for the fans of Kansas City. Though Tebow has been criticized on a weekly basis by NFL experts, he is 3-2 as a starter including 2-1 this year.

Come back next Thursday for the Week 9 rankings!
