Every since I was little my mom was sick with cancer twice,brain tumor, heart issues, and divorce. Thru each stepping stone she showed me Strength,Faith and Undying Love. She always cared about others and showed me no matter what, you never give up and always, always keep Faith, Love for others, and Humor. We have had some wonderful times in sickness and in good health and she still shines today thru all her health issues. She is a strong rock and my best friend. PICK HER< PICK HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mom is no longer with me but she left me a legacy of giving and caring. She told me stories about The Depression and how all the relatives lived together. She fed people in our kitchen when they needed food. She would give you the shirt off her back and often did. As a mother and grandmother myself, I try to live the way she did. Therefore, I would like to nominate my daughter. She is a busy mother of 4 and the love she shows to her children is beautiful. She has 3 boys and 1 little girl. Not one of those kids could ever say their Mom wasn't there at every game and event in their young lives. She knows what is important! The one thing that doesn't happen is having a night out with her husband. This would be great for her and I would love to be able to win this for her to have some grownup time (I will babysit, of course!).

My mom is gone but I have three daughters of my own and they are ALL wonderful young women.  My oldest daughter, Sarah, is a mom and I would like to nominate her for the simple fact that she IS awesome-as well as being an awesome mom.  
Thank God I have no sad story to share or down-on-our luck kind of problems going on in our lives----I just want Sarah to know that as a mom I appreciate the way she is raising her little girl and I am proud of seeing some of "my" traits coming through!   Being a mom isn't an easy job and ANY mom deserves to be praised....it's a job we we have for the rest of our lives~~and hopefully we'll do it well enough to leave an impression on those we've chosen to bring into this world.
One of the things I am most proud of 'giving' my girls is the love for music!   It's been a part of my heritage all my life and I am proud to see that it still means something to my daughter, as she is passing that love on to her own child.  And for that I think she is awesome!
Through the years I have been dragged to concerts such as The Barenaked Ladies, to following 'Nsync around several towns~~~~but in return Sarah attended Ringo concerts with me and has gone to see the Moody Blues and Paul McCartney with me many times. Music is an amazing bond for people, and to have your child love the same stuff that you do~that's a gift!
Sarah is awesome because she loves all types of music---she goes swing dancing every week, she loves jazz, she knows the words to EVERY Beatles song.....and she is teaching her almost 5-year old to love music as well~~~she's already been to her first concert.....because SHE wanted to go see Owl City, and knows the words to most all of their songs!
Every mom is awesome, there's no doubt about that, and for many reasons---my daughter just happens to be awesome for appreciating the power of music and is passing that on to yet another generation!

What makes my mom awesome, you ask? My mom's awesome because she's my best friend. She's awesome because despite her lack of skill in the cooking department, she still does her best to make me homemade meals- and my all time favorite sweet potato chips. She's awesome because when she sub's as a nurse at my high school, she does a terrific job staying incognito- until one of my friends runs up to me and says YOUR MOMS AWESOME, SHE GAVE ME A SICK PASS TO GO HOME, or until I see her car in the parking lot.... My mom's awesome because although she's not a fan of pet's- she loves my bunny just because she knows I do. If I'm lucky, she'll even admit he's cute! :p My mom's awesome because even though she's not much of an athlete, she still attempt to practice with me and shows up at all of my games and manages to do a fabulous job acting as though she's a soccer pro! I can even hear her chiming in with the other soccer mom's sometimes, cheering out terms I know she does not fully understand. My mom's awesome, because she's my role model. Although she has always unconditionally loved me, she has never sheltered me, she has supported all of my endeavors while acting as a safety net to fall back on. I aspire to be the influential, strong, women my mother has proven to be. My mom is the best mom in the world. She is also my best friend. She raised two kids by her self after my dad left (I was two, and she was 9 months pregnant with my brother). She has done an amazing job raising us, and worked several jobs to make sure we had food on the table. She truly is amazing!

What makes my mom awesome?  She is the best most understanding, uplifting, honest, spiritual, beautiful, hardworking, giving, inspirational woman I know.  She guides me when I need to be guided and lifts me up when I feel like I have fallen.  She is my best friend and I pray that I can become the mother to my 2 boys that she has been to me throughout my life.  Without her I would be lost and with her I am complete...that is why she is awesome...

My mom is the most awesome and best mom in the world because of how hard she works to take care of her family.  She works long hours at a job that is not challenging enough for her.  Despite her constant and boring  work, she keeps an excellent attitude in life. I admire her very much for her selfless work ethic and the kindness and care she has showered upon me. She never does anything for herself, but deserves to live like a queen!

There is a couple of things that makes my mom "Awsome"
For one, when I was groing up as a child she taught me from a young age that I could talk to her about anything, and I do mean anything.lol
She told me she would never get mad at me for what ever I come to her with to talk to her, she gave me advice, most great advice.
She not only did this for me but all of my friends too !!!!
This I carried on to my children who are now grown with little one's of their own, and they are passing it onto their children....
It is "Awsome" having a mom that you can talk to about Anything......

My mom is the best at supporting dreams.  She writes ariticles for the local newspaper and they are accepted without a word changed.  I think I got my writing talent from her genes and have written poetry for years.  She taught me to express myself with words on paper and in person.  Communication is key to any relationship and we have a good exchange of words and lively debates.  I've been told some call it discussions.

My mother, some how & some way, raised 9 children that wanted for nothing.
From those 9 children and their significant others came 29 grand & great-grand children.
At some point and to this day she still helps in caring for those children.
