Lady Gaga has announced that she will have to cancel the remainder of her "Born This Way" tour. Earlier this week, Gaga postponed four shows, citing a performance injury.
She tweeted, "I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now. Over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. To the fans in Chicago, Detroit, and Hamilton, I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. I'm devastated and sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible. I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I'm sorry."
At the time of her tweets, which came Feb. 12, Gaga believed she’d just have to postpone four shows, which she’d make up at the end of her tour.
As it turns out, she will need surgery for a "labral tear of the right hip," according to LittleMonsters.com. While some are likely disappointed, most of Mother Monster’s fans have been supportive, and I can only imagine how Mother Monster feels, considering she seems to care about her fans a great deal. Get well soon, Gaga!
