View Comments(0)

This week we're talking about Mother's Day and helping out everyone that hasn't gotten something yet. Meanwhile, a mom watches The Matrix for the first time and then describes it, and in the process comes up with a unique re-telling. Finally, Iron Man 3 is already smash hit.

A mom describes The Matrix

Speaking of moms, what happens when you ask one to watch The Matrix for the first time and then describe it? Well, it depends on the mom, but here's one that came out of it with a slightly different understanding of the film. This is probably what happens when you close your eyes for the violent parts, which is like half the movie. Take a look; it's aww-tastic.

Iron Man 3 is well received

It's still opening day, but already things are looking bright for Iron Man 3. The latest flick featuring Tony Stark, who previously appeared in last year's The Avengers, is receiving great reviews, and according to Rotten Tomatoes, is 77% "Fresh." The reviews seem to suggest that the reception is primarily because of Robert Downey Jr.'s performance, rather than the script or plot being anything to write home about (although I have seen good reviews of the story, too). The movie has already made $345 million from last week's worldwide releases, so if it can hit roughly $300 million domestically, it will do better than Iron Man 2.

That's it for this week. Have a great weekend, everyone!
