Mothers Day is now less than a week away, and many of us (yes us, I'm including myself), are still trying to figure out what gift to get for mom on her special day. There is no perfect answer, because everyone is different, but here are some ideas that may help you figure out what you want to get:
Flowers - Getting your mom some flowers is a must. Most moms love flowers, but if all you are planning on getting is flowers, you may want to keep thinking. Flowers are good; flowers plus something else is great.
Candy - There are tons of options for the mom with a sweet tooth. Things like chocolate or gummy bears are always welcome, but if you want to step-up your game try sending her a candy-gram. That would help make a simple gift like candy become awesome.
Jewelry - I know my mom is a sucker for jewelry, as many are. There are so many different options, but if you find the perfect one for your mom she will be bragging about it all year.

Re-create old pictures - This idea is kind of a new one, but its a goodie. You may have seen this before, but the basic concept is that you find one of memorable pictures of you in your youth, and take the same picture now. Dress the same, smile the same, do everything the same. Here is an example of it working beautifully and another fantastic example. Mom will love it.
A hand-written card - Everyone gets a card, but if you truly want to make it unique, write out a note yourself. It is much more thoughtful, not generic like a greeting card can be. That extra time can make all the difference.
Taking Her Out
Tickets - Yes, we are ticket site saying to get tickets, but that doesn't make it any less of great gift. If you have a mom who loves going to concerts, or if she is a theater-buff, or if she loves her favorite sports teams, a ticket to an event will definitely make her happy. Check out our Mother's Day Gift Ideas page for more event ideas.
Dinner and a movie - If your mom doesn't necessarily need more "things," take her on date night. Going to dinner and movie can make mom feel even more appreciated than any gift could.
