Five summer movies opening in U.S. theaters in June

I'm pretty excited for the movies that will be released in theaters over the next few weeks. Summer movies tend to be huge, and huge usually means great, so I can't wait for the return of a Pixar classic, a new take on buddy cop films, and a movie where the actors are playing themselves. Check it out:

The Internship

Short summary: Two guys get let go from their job and decide to intern at Google instead in hopes it will turn into a job.

Short summary: Young Hollywood celebrities attend a party at James Franco’s house… and then the apocalypse happens.

Man of Steel

Short summary: In the sequel to " Monsters Inc.," the origins of Mike and Sulley’s college friendship is explored.

The Heat

Starring: Sandra Bullock; Melissa McCarthy

Short summary: Sarah Ashburn is an uptight FBI agent who can’t find a partner. So she’s paired with Shannon Mullins, a testy Boston cop, an equally impossible-to-get-along with woman. The two work together to take down a ruthless drug lord.
