What People Are Talking About

Godzilla

You probably didn't know you wanted a "Godzilla" remake, yet here it is. Starring Bryan Cranston. The last time a reboot for this film was attempted was in 1998, starring Matthew Broderick (who was almost Walter White). I can't speak for the 1998 version, but again I will reiterate this version stars Bryan Cranston, who made you believe he was the clueless and goofy Hal on "Malcolm in the Middle" and then ALSO made you believe he was a meth-dealing chemistry teacher in "Breaking Bad." Just saying.

History of Rap 5

I would apologize for all these Jimmy Fallon-related videos, but I can't because they're all so good. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake make a great team, which is no doubt why Fallon decided to invite Timberlake to be a guest during his first week on "The Tonight Show." They've already done "History of Rap" parts 1-4... so why not go ahead and give us a 5th? I kind of think Fallon/Timberlake are the male version of Tina Fey/Amy Poehler.

Seth Meyers

Speaking of Jimmy Fallon, this week, Seth Meyers took over Fallon's old gig — and made sure to give acknowledge as much in the opening moments of Meyers' first show. (See video at left.) As for his list of guests, Meyers, who used to be the host of "Weekend Update" on SNL, called on his old "Weekend Update" co-host, Amy Poehler, to be the very first. He was also joined by Vice President Joe Biden, and Kanye West (who also stopped by for a performance).
