On the Run Tour
The world collectively lost its mind this week when the Jay Z and Beyonce tour rumors came true. The duo will head out on a summer stadium tour called On The Run. It's reminiscent of how Jay Z spent last summer co-headlining a short stadium tour with Justin Timberlake — only this time, IT'S BEYONCE. What songs will they sing? How many will they sing together? What will their separate sets include? I have so many questions, and I am convinced this will be one of the greatest tours ever. Are you as excited for the tour as I am? If so, be sure to get your tickets!
It's been a rollercoaster week for the Clippers, a team that, in the midst of the NBA playoffs, also had to deal with leaked audio of their owner, Donald Sterling, making racist remarks. In protest, the Clippers team then turned their jerseys inside out to remove the logo. Shortly thereafter, the NBA banned Sterling for life from any association with the league or the Clippers. He was also fined $2.5 million. In the aftermath of that decision, many wondered if Sterling would sell his team; several celebrities and athletes have expressed interest, including boxer Floyd Mayweather. There's no official word on what, exactly, will happen to the Clippers team — but at least they're still in the playoffs.
Actress Emma Stone stopped by "The Tonight Show" this week to promote the release of her upcoming movie, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." Naturally, she was asked to be part of Jimmy Fallon's lip-sync battle. These are always pretty amazing. Fallon went with Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and Styx's "Mr. Roboto," while Emma Stone went with "Hook" by Blues Traveler and DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win." I was impressed by Emma's first song, but her final song is where she really shines. Check it out!
