TicketNetwork Advisory -- Prices Fall for Some John Mayer Tickets

VERNON, CT--(Marketwire - May 28, 2010) - The average price for John Mayer tickets on the TicketNetwork exchange rose slightly for the artist's upcoming summer tour as compared to Mayer's last major tour, which was in 2008. However, the average ticket price for some cities is lower for the 2010 Battle Studies Tour than it was for 2008's Continuum Tour.

• The current average price for all John Mayer concert tickets is $165. The average ticket price for the 2008 tour was $146.
• The current average total dollars spent per order is also higher this year at $398 as compared to 2008's average of $348.
• The current lowest average ticket price is in Moosic, PA at $88, while the highest average ticket price is in Los Angeles, CA at $310. In 2008, Wheatland, CA held the record for the lowest average ticket price at $101, while the highest was in Paso Robles, CA at $269.
• Six cities saw a drop in their individual average ticket price. The most dramatic fall was in West Palm Beach, FL, where the price dropped to $166 in 2010 from $218 in 2008.

Mayer and his band will take the Battle Studies Tour across North America for 38 dates beginning on July 16. The tour will end on September 11.
