Since March 1, the total amount of orders for the System of a Down tour is 18% higher than total orders for the 2011 Rammstein tour and 40% higher than total orders for the Motley Crue tour.
Among metal bands, System of a Down is beaten in total orders only by the dual headliner of Def Leppard and Heart.
A quarter of all orders placed are for the May 24th performance at The Forum in Los Angeles.

System of a Down formed in 1992 and released its self-titled debut album in 1998. It gained mainstream notice in 2001 with the release of its sophomore effort Toxicity. Its hit single "B.Y.O.B." won the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
