About A Christmas Carol

Charles Dickens was born in the English city of Portsmouth in 1812. He published A Christmas Carol in 1843, and it sold over 6,000 copies in one week. One of the most famous Victorian authors, Dickens wrote about social issues like poverty and injustice. This Victorian morality tale teaches lessons about charity, redemption, and the Christmas spirit. Find tickets for A Christmas Carol to enjoy this yuletide story.

In A Christmas Carol, the miser Ebenezer Scrooge has one last chance to save his soul. All he cares about is money, and he neglects his nephew, Fred, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Bob's son Tiny Tim knows how to keep Christmas special, even though the young boy is very ill. But Scrooge prefers to say "Bah! Humbug!" Once Scrooge had a caring sister named Fan, loved a girl named Belle, and worked for a merry man named Fezziwig. But time has blurred these happy memories. Now Ebenezer counts his money and goes home to a cold, lonely room.

Soon the ghost of Jacob Marley will surprise his old partner with a holiday visit. An unwelcome guest, Marley's ghost warns Scrooge that souls pay for their sins after death. If Scrooge does not start showing brotherly love, he will be doomed to be a miserable ghost. Scrooge says "Humbug!" but the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the terrifying Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come may change his mind. Will Ebenezer ever feel the holiday spirit? Find out with discount A Christmas Carol tickets.
