Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A Wonderful Experience My husband & I came to the Twin Cities to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We have never seen a play and, since A Christmas Carol is my favorite movie of the season, we thought we would see it. We had a blast! The play was so entertaining and moving as well. The special effects on the spirit of Christmas future were thrilling! We are telling everyone we know about it and encouraging them to see it as well. We will definitely come back and see another in the future. Also, we had dinner first and our meal was so unique and scrumptious. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Middle of road show We have seen xmas carol several times at the Palace and elsewhere over the years, this show was mediocre, the sets were non interesting and the cast seemed like an amateur dramatic group. Wouldn't recommend this particular performance. Several audience members close to us left early.

A Christmas Carol Plot Summary

In A Christmas Carol, the miser Ebenezer Scrooge has one last chance to save his soul. All he cares about is money, and he neglects his nephew, Fred, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Bob's son Tiny Tim knows how to keep Christmas special, even though the young boy is very ill. But Scrooge prefers to say "Bah! Humbug!" Once Scrooge had a caring sister named Fan, loved a girl named Belle, and worked for a merry man named Fezziwig. But time has blurred these happy memories. Now Ebenezer counts his money and goes home to a cold, lonely room.

Soon the ghost of Jacob Marley will surprise his old partner with a holiday visit. An unwelcome guest, Marley's ghost warns Scrooge that souls pay for their sins after death. If Scrooge does not start showing brotherly love, he will be doomed to be a miserable ghost. Scrooge says "Humbug!" but the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the terrifying Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come may change his mind. Will Ebenezer ever feel the holiday spirit? Find out with discount A Christmas Carol tickets.
