A Raisin in the Sun Plot Summary

A Raisin in the Sun is set in an apartment on the south side of Chicago. The play follows the Young family after the death of their patriarch. Lena (better known as Mama), is waiting for the arrival of a very large check from the insurance agency. When the highly-anticipated check arrives, each member of the family has a different plan for the funds.
