A View from the Bridge Tickets

Written by American playright Arthur Miller in 1955, A View from the Bridge debuted at the Coronet Theatre on Broadway. Originally a one-act play, the tragedy was met with negative reviews. Determined to have the play be successful, Miller revised the tragedy so it contained two acts. The two-act version premiered in London’s West End in 1956, and has remained a two-act play ever since. Currently, showings of the play, which have been called “simply staggering” by The Washington Post are taking place at Lyceum Theatre in New York City.

A View from the Bridge Synopsis

A View from the Bridge tells the story of Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman living in a working-class section of Brooklyn. Carbone’s life takes a turn for the worst when he agrees to take in his immigrant cousins. According to the New York Times, by the end of the play “you are wrung out, scooped up, and so exhausted that you’re wide awake.” Find your A View from the Bridge tickets today!
