Legendary Texas governor Ann Richards is profiled in this inspirational play detailing the intimate moments of Ann's life. The 45th Governor of Texas, Ann served from 1991 to 1995; she was the second female governor ever to be elected in the state. Ann rose to national attention after she delivered the keynote address at the 1988 Democratic National Convention, where she famously lambasted then-president George Bush Sr. The speech set the tone for her political future.
