Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun place to see a game.. The game was good, but what made it fun was the crowd... it was a mixed bag of home fans and Warriors band wagoners making for fun ribbing and chatter in the crowd... all good-natured without any concern it might erupt in to something nasty. Ample parking, good public transit access and walking distance from numerous hotels downtown. There was decent leg room in our section which is a change from some arenas. There were good food choices and the lines moved quickly. Down sides -- no cup holders .. What's that about? Food stations started closing somewhere in the first couple of minutes of the fourth quarter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lot of fun Everything was well organized. We received the tickets on time. The only bad thing is the price of the parking, which was very expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best experience ever with sporting event! I took my son to see the Hawks play the Cavaliers for his birthday; this was hands down the best game ever not only because the Hawks won but also because the professional and enthusiastic staff of Phillips Arena, the programming staff who put together the Kiss Cam, music and video, the Hawks Cheerleaders all of it! My son says it's the best birthday gift ever!

About Atlanta Hawks tickets

Although the Atlanta Hawks saw three previous homes before making their way down to Atlanta, they have called Georgia's capital home since 1968. The beginnings of the franchise date back to 1946, when the Tri-Cities Blackhawks were formed as part of the start-up Basketball Association of America. The league did not last long before merging with the National Basketball League to become what is known today as the National Basketball Association in 1949.

Since making their nest in Atlanta, fans who have bought Hawks basketball tickets over the years have not witnessed the levels of success that they had hoped. As of 2010, the team had not been able to advance past the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the NBA playoffs. But while their team history is not long, one player stands out among all the rest. In 1982, the team acquired rookie Dominique Wilkins from the Jazz in hopes of finding a superstar. Little did they know that he would become the "Human Highlight Reel."

In his 12 seasons playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Dominique Wilkins helped the Hawks reach the playoffs nine times, including a stretch from 1985 to 1989 when the team was among the Eastern Conference elite. When people talk about the career of Dominique Wilkins in a Hawks uniform, they would be hard-pressed not to mention his performance in Game 7 of the 1988 Eastern Conference Semifinals. Matched up against Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics, Wilkins carried his team for the entire game, including a fourth quarter in which Bird and 'Nique traded baskets until an exciting finish. The Celtics won the game 118-116, with Wilkins finishing with 47 points.

Fast forward to the modern-NBA and the Atlanta Hawks are a team with great potential. Dennis Schroder is a German point guard who is an extremely versatile player for the Hawks. Paul Milsap and Kyle Korver are becoming cornerstones for the franchise as they have been a big factor in the recent success of the Hawks. The roadblock in their way is LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawkshave been one of the best teams in the NBA over the past three sesaons but can't get past James.

Dwight Howard, a native of Atlanta, has returned home after signing a major deal this offseason with the Hawks. Howard can no longer dominate the game every night like he could in his prime with the Orlando Magic, but a fresh start might be exactly what he needs.

With expectation remaining high in Atlanta, find your Atlanta Hawks tickets today and see if your squad can bring home a championship.
