Rated 5 out of 5 by from Memories I cried when she began with "The Way We Were", and had many wonderful memories come to mind as she continued the concert of my lifetime. Her voice was better than ever, and today am still reminiscing about the entire evening. I've never been to a more fantastic concert, and couldn't believe her encores as no one wanted the music to end. This will be the best memory of my life and well worth the wait. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to meet her in person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barbra I was about 8 years old the first time I heard Barbra sing and have been a fan of hers ever since. Seeing her in concert was a dream come true, there are no words to describe the feeling I had she has definitely made her mark in the industry. My daughter was with me and after the concert she also said she never realized what a beautiful person she was until then and is now a fan of hers. I would recommend her concert to everyone who is a fan or not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect Tears filled my eyes when Barbra walked out on the stage at the Verizon Center. I couldn't believe I was witnessing her live! Her voice was still beautiful and strong and when I heard her sing some of my favorites, it was surreal, as in, "is this really happening; I am truly here listening to Babbs!" I was hoping to hear Somewhere which is my favorite song but I know she cannot sing everyones favorites. She was so relaxed as a performer and so down to earth. The intermission was to long! We could have done without the mind reader entertainment. That was not what we came to the show for and paid a lot of money for. I would have much preferred more pictures of Barbra and her band playing during the intermission. Overall, I am thankful that she decided to tour again and I was part of the experience. Thank you Barbra Streisand for a lovely evening of YOU.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I saw Streisand the last time she came to the Wells Fargo, 4 years ago and she was phenomenal!!! I was very disappointed in this event. She sang a lot of other peoples music, was a downer most of the time with the global warming, people hating people and her political comments. I respect for her views and love that she conveys a message but it was too much and not enough of her fabulous and powerful voice. And the mentalist. what was that. he was very good., but didn't fit with the show it seemed like a cheap act..... 4 years ago it was like seeing 3-4 concerts in one with chris botti, a woman violinist , and the 3 Italian young men Il Volo who were awesome and sang with her. I was so excited, paid extra for my ticket this time just to go cause the last concert very so memorable, and now I won't see her again... so disappointed cause I love her !!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barbra Streisand was masterful! I have lived in the Washington, DC area for thirty years and have witnessed uncompromising talent. Barbra Streisand surpasses all. Every note is studio quality and every minute is perfection. I was brought to tears with emotion during the brilliant performance of "Papa can you hear me?" written for her when she starred in the title role of Yentl (1983). Some moments in life stay with you forever. This is one of them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Barbra wonderful - venue too big I thought Barbra Streisand was wonderful. I've been a fan since Funny Girl and was very pleased w/ the songs she chose to sing and her personal touch w/ the audience. But the venue was too big!! I felt like I could fall forward and the sound was nearly good enuf in the upper sections. Barclay center needed more big screens. And I thought the mentalist before the second act was a complete waste of time and my money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Talked to much didn't sing enough... Wished Barbara would have sung more and more old songs. I went to concert to hear her beautiful voice and it was somewhat more about her than her music. Also, there was only one large screen for audience so many people did not get to see her via screen, which was a big disappointment. Lastly, I could read everything she said and sung because teleprompter was very obvious which is also a little disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Concert My mom's last item on her bucket list was finally realized, and it was well worth the 86-year wait. Her voice was "spot on" as always and the selections sang were a fantastic array of Barbra through the years. I would estimate that most of the passengers on our flight back to Omaha the following day had attended the concert and everyone was raving about the show and sharing their memories. FANTASTIC!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fabulous Voice!! Fabulous voice!! Enjoyable stage presence. Remarkable band. Only wished she'd refrained from all of her political views!! I paid to attend a concert, not a political rally.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Barbara Streisand Pretty disappointed in the concert. I waited almost 50 years to see her in concert. I didn't realize that I would have to sit and hear her political jokes and opinions. She did more talking than singing and the Mentalist was so uncalled for. The most disappointment was when she said the "F" word so strongly on stage. I thought she was a classy lady. Guess not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome concert! I purchased these tickets as a Christmas gift for my mother. She is always taking care of my deathly ill father and I wanted to give her a short break. Since I know she love Barbra Streisand I figured it would be a great option. SHE LOVED IT!!!! It was truly remarkable how effortless she makes it seem. She is truly an astonishing and humble person!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barbra was fantastic! T-Mobile Arena is wonderful. Barbra Streisand is the best performer in the world. Her concert was stellar. She is so personable and the slide show (behind her) was tremendous. Everyone in the audience was thrilled throughout her event. The T-Mobile arena is gorgeous. The acoustics and lightening were fabulous. The arena could have been a little cooler in temperature though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barbra still has it. Fab concert. Barbra still has a great voice. It was flawless. She performed with an orchestra and three superb female singers. There was also a beautiful light show and video clips on a huge screen behind her. She spiced up the evening with many stories about her long illustrious career. It was a captivating show.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from T-Mobile Arena Worst Venue EVER T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is a torture chamber. By the time we finally finished dealing with their stunning incompetence in every area, especially parking (which took 1.5 hours AFTER getting there), including mind numbingly stupid access design, we spent the show HATING Barbra Streisand for using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concert Cheers Babs for taking such great care of your God given vocal instrument. Concert was great, choice of music was excellent along with snippets explaining her album covers. Seems strange that some people are complaining about her well known political views....why spend $$ on the show ???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Barbara Streisand Barbara did an excellent job of telling her fabulous story of so many different successes on many levels and weaving into the fabric of the concert her inpeccable voice by singing some of her greatest hits! I enjoyed the concert as I have waited over 40 years to see her in person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy as always Barbara Streisand concert was classic as she sang her songs and brought you back to " The Way We Were" . Barbara showed us a piece of her life through the history of her music and some of Broadway's music that should be remembered. The music was well orchestrated . Great job Barbara!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boring We were very disappointed in this concert. We are both big fans, but there was too much talk and not enough music. Her song selection wasn't great, and the guy she brought on to read the minds of those in the audience was very "Vegas". Not what we came for...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from She talks too much I was really looking forward to seeing Barbra Streisand for the first time. Unfortunately instead of being a concert it was a tribute to herself...what a yenta...more talking then singing. I also think a celebrity should keep their political view OFF stage

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Barbra Streisand was a delight. Her song choices were awesome and her banter was appreciated. Ms. Streisand has a great sense of humor. The remarks were very relevant. Unfortunately, the sound system was awful. The Sting/ Peter Gabriel concert last month sounded great. Why?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concert didn't like the intermission Great concert but didn't like the intermission but maybe she needed to rest her voice she is incredible one of the most beautiful voices ever There was a problem with getting into the parking lot at pHILADELPHIA WAITED IN TRAFFICE FOR 90 MINUTES

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Unbelievable I knew she was good but couldn't believe how great she really is. I loved every single song she sang (even the ones I never heard before) due to her fantastic voice. Expensive show but can honestly say it was worth every penny..........Bob - NJ

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Venue too large I found that this event was held in way to large a building. We sat about 400 feet from the stage and the performer was so far away she appeared miniature. So we were forced to watch a screen - like we would watch on TV at home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Last night in Las Vegas at new T Mobile arena. Our first time to see Barbra live. It was amazing, loved her casualness in telling stories along ith the music. I could have listened to her for hours more. She sounded great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magnificent concert........... Barbara's voice is great....... she was very friendly and gave us three more songs at the end.....due to the excitement and applauses of the around 15,000 people who attended this concert.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Babs still has it goin' on! Have seen here in concert since the 60s and she never fails to amaze me with her voice and style. Great night! She can make you feel like she is in a small venue rather than a huge stadium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from outstanding concert Barbra sang beautifully many of her songs from over the years. She sang many of my favorites. The lights went with the show perfectly. The videos in the back ground enhanced the program.

Barbra Streisand Biography

Barbara Streisand, known professionally as Barbra Streisand was born on April 24, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY. Barbra Streisand's father, who had been a high school teacher, passed away suddenly due to complications from an epileptic seizure at the age of 34, shortly after Barbra Streisand's first birthday. Her mother, who worked as a bookkeeper, struggled to keep food on the table for her family.

Barbra Streisand’s mother sang semi-professionally, and when Barbra Streisand was 13, while on vacation in Upstate New York, she and her mother recorded a few songs on tape, which is when Barbra Streisand realized she wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Even though she had dreams of becoming a professional musician, she had even bigger dreams of making it as an actress. After attending her first Broadway play, The Diary of Anne Frank when she was 14, she began spending free time at the library, studying the biography of stages actresses like Eleanora Duse and Sarah Bernhardt.

By the time she was 16, Barbra Streisand was living on her own, sometimes sleeping on friends' couches to save money. After having difficulty finding acting roles, Barbra Streisand decided it was time to pursue singing professionally instead. She recorded a demo and eventually entered a talent contest at a gay nightclub in Greenwich Village. After winning the contest by unanimous decision, she began singing at the club on a regular basis. Eventually, Barbra Streisand landed a gig at the Bon Soir nightclub, earning $125 a week.

Barbra Streisand never lost her desire to act, and she eventually earned the role of a secretary in the musical comedy, I Can Get It for You Wholesale in 1962. The play received rave reviews and helped Barbra Streisand make a name for herself.

Barbra Streisand eventually signed a contract with Columbia Records, and in 1963, she released her debut studio album, The Barbra Streisand Album. The record reached the top 10 on Billboard charts and won three Grammy Awards. At this point in time, everyone was looking to buy Barbra Streisand tickets. Since then, Barbra Streisand has gone on to release 39 studio albums and has been nominated for 40 Grammy Awards, 10 of which she won. She is one of the best-selling female artists of all time, selling over 245 million albums worldwide, including over 72 million records sold in the United States alone. Barbra Streisand has also starred in multiple movies, such as Funny Girl and What's Up, Doc?.
