Rated 5 out of 5 by from Concert was TERRIFIC! Billy Joel is phenomenal Music and performance was outstanding. He played long and enthusiastically! The venue itself is a Chicago favorite~ Say no more Wrigley Field! However the staffing at the venue should have been better. To get into the event there were long lines and then once in you had to wait again if you needed to be on the field (best seats). At that point there was no organization to receiving your wrist band. Just a lot of pushing to get to the people handing them out and then they ran out. Also the staff should have kept the aisle clear. If you are fortunate enough to have a main floor ticket is a shame that others are standing in the aisle in front of you blocking your view even tho you may be standing as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Entertainer! Billy Joel showed himself to be a true Entertainer at the top of his game. Despite a summer storm delay of more than an hour, Joel arrived on stage with his band and truly delivered playing for close to two hours. With more than 20,000 enthusiastic fans on hand, many songs were delivered by the maestro accompanied by the chorus of fans. What a beautiful sound to hear and to be a part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had a great time! I was up in the nosebleeds at AT&T Park, so it was hard to see him other than on the screens, but that didn't matter because I was there to listen. He had a great mix of fan favorites and deeper cuts, as well as some funny banter in between. The audience was also a good mix of older and younger fans, and everybody seemed like they were having a great time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Billy Joel rocks! I wish I had spent the extra money for better seats, but it was still one of the best concerts I've been to in a long time. I especially love the way he takes the time to talk to the audience between songs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best production I've ever seen! This concert was worth every penny! From the sound quality, to the lights and video, to the "Piano Man" himself! Every song was better than the one before it! Didn't want it to end :(

Legendary singer and songwriter Billy Joel has been entertaining audiences around the world for over thirty years. His classical training and admiration of Broadway helped him form his unique spin on Rock & Roll. Now Billy continues to tour around the world, as fans of all ages buy Billy Joel tickets to see him live.

Billy Joel was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1949 before moving and growing up in a Long Island suburb. For much of his adolescence he studied piano, and upon seeing the Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show he made the decision to pursue a career in music. Before going out on his own, Joel joined multiple groups, including The Lost Souls, The Hassles and Attila. In 1973, Billy signed with Columbia Records after he was pursued by then-label executive Clive Davis. That same year he released his first album under his new label, Piano Man, which included the hit single "Piano Man." The song has arguably become his most popular single to date.

It was the release of The Stranger (1977) that launched Billy Joel into superstardom. The album included the singles "Just the Way You Are," "Movin' Out" and "Only the Good Die Young," each of which reached the Top 25 on the Billboard charts. Joel won his first Grammy in 1979 for the single "Just the Way You Are." He won Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Even with all of his success, it wasn't until the single "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" off of 52nd Street (1978) that Joel had a #1 single. Over his career he has had a total of 33 Top 40 singles, three of which reached #1.

After 1993's River of Dreams, Joel stopped writing new material for several years, opting to tour and pursue other ventures. In 2001, Joel released Fantasies and Delusions, a collection of classical pieces. Then, in 2007, he released the singles "All My Life" and "Christmas in Fallujah," the first lyrical songs Joel had written in 14 years. According to Allmusic, Billy Joel's work has been heard on stage as well, in the Broadway production of "Movin' Out." The dance-musical uses 26 Joel songs and features characters that come from some of his songs. Joel has been married three times and in 2004 married food critic Katie Lee. He has a daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, with second wife Christine Brinkley. Get your Billy Joel tickets today and see the legendary musican live in 2015!
