Showing 1-25 of 45 results.Jon Bon Jovi has been interested in music his entire life. He formed his first band, called Raze, when he was just thirteen years old, and by age sixteen had formed a twelve-piece band called Atlantic City Expressway that frequented the local club circuit. In the early 1980's, Jon Bon Jovi was working at the Power Station Studios, and had recorded a demo tape of the now popular song "Runaway."
The song began garnering a lot of airplay, and Jon Bon Jovi needed to recruit a full time band. In 1983, Bon Jovi was formed when guitarist Richie Sambora, bassist Alec John Such, drummer Tico Torres, and keyboardist David Bryan joined frontman Jon Bon Jovi. The group signed with Mercury Records and released their debut album, Bon Jovi in 1984. The album sold 3.5 million copies worldwide, and Bon Jovi fans began buying up tickets to see the band open for acts like ZZ Top, the Scorpions, and Kiss.
Though Bon Jovi's next album, 7800° Fahrenheit (1985), fell flat, their third album, Slippery When Wet (1986), sold an incredible 26 million copies and catapulted the band into superstardom. Slippery When Wet contained the popular songs "You Give Love a Bad Name," "Wanted Dead or Alive," and "Livin' On a Prayer," which are still enjoyed by Bon Jovi fans to this day.
Bon Jovi took a brief break between 1990 and 1992, but came back stronger than ever with Keep the Faith, which contained singles like "Bed of Roses," "In These Arms," and "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead." By the end of the century, Bon Jovi had already been awarded numerous VMAs, AMAs, and WMAs, and had released five multi-platinum albums. The band was also selling tons of Bon Jovi tickets to concerts on their rigorous tour schedule, which included the Slippery When Wet Tour (1986-1987), the New Jersey Syndicate Tour (1988-1990), the Keep the Faith Tour (1992-1994), and the These Days Tour (1995-1996).
In this century, Bon Jovi is still one of the hottest acts around, and they are continuously releasing new albums including Bounce (2002), Have a Nice Day (2005), and Lost Highway (2007). TicketNetwork.com always has the best selection of sold out and hard to find Bon Jovi tickets, so get your cheap Bon Jovi tickets from TicketNetwork today!
