With music by Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Don Black, the songs are a non-traditional combination of gospel, blues and rockabilly music. Bonnie & Clyde Plot Summary
The story begins in Texas during the Great Depression. It opens with Bonnie working as a waitress in a diner and dreaming of escape. Soon she meets Clyde, newly escaped from jail, and the adventure begins. They are joined by Clyde’s brother Buck and his wife Blanche and pursued by the Sheriff and his deputy.
