Everyone’s favorite outlaw couple takes to the stage in this exciting Bonnie and Clyde musical. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were criminals who became well known in the early 1930s for a string of bank robberies. The reputation they built was portrayed in Arthur Penn’s 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde and they became a permanent fixture of American pop culture. With music by Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Don Black, the songs are a non-traditional combination of gospel, blues and rockabilly music. Director Jeff Calhoun calls the show "a love story that is both compelling and sexy..."
The story begins in Texas during the Great Depression. It opens with Bonnie working as a waitress in a diner and dreaming of escape. Soon she meets Clyde, newly escaped from jail, and the adventure begins. They are joined by Clyde’s brother Buck and his wife Blanche and pursued by the Sheriff and his deputy. The action is intense and the music exciting as the story unfolds. Get your Bonnie and Clyde tickets and join the outlaws on their cross-country adventure!
