Since beginning his professional career in 2000, Brad Paisley has quickly become one of the most recognizable faces in the country genre in recent years. His six albums have been critical successes, with the last four charting in the top ten and his entire collection of albums selling more than seven million copies. Paisley has worked with a number of his colleagues in the industry, such as B.B. King, Keith Urban, and Vince Gill on the album Play.

About Brad Paisley
Brad Paisley was born on October 28th, 1972, in Glen Dale, West Virginia, and from an early age he seemed to be destined for country music stardom. CMT's biography of Paisley mentions that one of the country music star's earliest memories is of his grandfather playing the guitar. Indeed, his grandfather gave Brad Paisley his first guitar at the age of 8, and Paisley's love of music took off like a rocket. By age 13, he was opening for established acts, such as Wynonna Judd, Ricky Skaggs, and George Jones.
After graduating from high school, Brad decided to make the trek that all country music stars eventually make. Brad Paisley headed to Nashville, Tennessee, where he attended Belmont University on a full scholarship. After graduation from college, Brad soon became a hit with the song "Who Needs Pictures" and his debut at the Grand Ole Opry, where he was later inducted.
Brad Paisley has released six studio albums; he released his sixth, Play, on November 4, 2008. Five of his six albums have charted in the top 40 and the last four have been top-ten sellers. All of his albums except the newly released Play have reached at least platinum certification. Paisley's work has resulted in his nomination for three Grammy Awards in 2008: Best Country Collaboration for "Oh Love" with Carrie Underwood, Best Country Instrumental for "Throttleneck," and Best Country Album for 5th Gear. Following the release of Play, Paisley was nominated for Entertainer of the Year and won Male Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for "Waitin' on a Woman" at the CMA Awards.
During the course of his career, Brad Paisley has often teamed up on his albums with other well known entertainers, including Underwood, B.B. King, Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, and Pat Green. Paisley has additionally toured with Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler, Jack Ingram, and Rodney Atkins. Paisley has also invited actors such as William Shatner, Jason Alexander, Jim Belushi and Andy Griffith to be guests on some of his songs. Paisley is married to Father of the Bride and According to Jim actress Kimberly Williams.
