In February 2016, Bring Me the Horizon announced a tour that will make stops across the country this spring. Kicking off at Welcome to Rockville at Jackson Metro Park in Jacksonville, FL on April 30, the circuit will stop at venues across the country, including at The Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring, MD, Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, WI, and The Tabernacle in Atlanta. The tour's final show will take place at Pointfest at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, MO on May 21, where they will be joined by Deftones and Chevelle. Bring Me the Horizon released their fifth studio album, That's the Spirit in September 2015. Prior to the album's release, Bring Me the Horizon released the singles "Drown," "Throne," "True Friends," and "Follow You." The album was met with critical acclaim from music critics and peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200.
Bring Me the Horizon is an alternative metal band hailing from South Yorkshire, England. As of 2016, the group consists of Oliver Sykes and Jordan Fish on vocals and keyboard, Lee Malia on lead guitar, Matt Kean on bass, and Matt Nicholls on percussion.
Bring Me the Horizon was founded in 2004 by Matt Kean, Lee Malia, Matt Nicholls, Oliver Skyes, and Curtis Ward. Shortly after Bring Me the Horizon formed, the band released the EP This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For. In 2006, the band released their debut album, Count Your Blessings.
After touring across Europe in the album's support, Bring Me the Horizon quickly went back to the studio to begin work on their second album. Recorded in Sweden, the band's sophomore album, Suicide Season was released on September 29, 2008. The album reached number two on the US Top Heatseekers chart.The band's third album, There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret. was much more popular than their first two efforts. There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret. reached number two on the US Rocks Albums chart and number one on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. As of 2016, Bring Me the Horizon has released five albums.
