Bullets Over Broadway Plot Summary

Bullets Over Broadway is the story of a young man in the 1920s who is new to the New York playwriting scene. David Shayne is trying to bring a play to the stage, but, as many young people, he does not have the money to fund his ambitions. So, he turns to the mob. The catch? The only way they will let his play become a reality is to hire a mobster's talentless girlfriend to star.

Throughout the production of his play, backstage antics ensue, affairs begin, and tensions between Shayne and the mob come to a head. This musical comedy is an enjoyable event in which everyone gets a chance to the see the inner workings of a play in the 1920s. Where else can audiences see tap-dancing gangsters?
