Rated 5 out of 5 by from great game even though the Indians lost My first time at Progressive Field. Everything was clean and well organized, the ushers were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the sales pitch of the vendors. Leaving the stadium was quick and efficient, was back in my hotel room 10 miles away 25 minutes after the game was over. From North Carolina and hope to return someday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game Good food and seat location. Exciting game with the home team winning in the nine th inning with a home run followed by an inside the park home run. Won the game 3-2. Fireworks after the game were great. Recommend going to MLB games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Pitching Ever The game was very exciting and the Cleaveland Indians pitchers were able to keep the Blue Jays strong batters at bay. it was also great to see the Cavaliers show up to support their home team.

About the Indians

Home Stadium: Progressive Field

Opened:1994
Seating Capacity:43,441
Address:2401 Ontario Street
Cleveland, OH 44115

The Cleveland Indians are one of the charter franchises of the American League and even pre-date the league itself. The Indians are among the four charter American League clubs that remain in the same city in which they were founded, along with Chicago, Boston and Detroit. Over the more than century-long existence of the team, the franchise has had many ups and downs, but has persevered every season and continue to strive for their first World Series title since 1948.

The team plays in the Central Division of the American League. Since joining the Central Division in 1994, the Indians have been perhaps the most successful team in the division. From 1994 to 2008, the Indians claimed the Central Division title seven times and have advanced to the MLB World Series twice. From 1995 until 2001, fan support in Cleveland for the Indians reached unprecedented levels. For 455 straight games, Cleveland Indians tickets sold out for home games, a record that stood until the Boston Red Sox broke it in 2008. In honor of the ticket sell-out streak, the Indians retired the number 455 in 2001.

After a few rebuilding MLB seasons, the Cleveland Indians are looking to return to their winning ways. Prior to the 2013 season, the Indians hired two-time World Series champion manager Terry Francona to manage the ballclub. He will try to turn the team around and return "The Tribe" back to the postseason.

In 2016, Fracona did exactly what the Indians hired him to do. He led the team to the World Series, but they came up short in one of the most thrilling World Series in recent memory. Find Cleveland Indians tickets today to see if the Indians can bring home the title in 2017.
