Mixing mysterious characters, sensual dancers, and illusions, the show transcends the imagination. The title "Believe" comes from a Harry Houdini quote as a tribute to Angel's hero. The story takes place in a surreal landscape of the imagination. With allegory and dream, the show explores the mind and features fantastical characters like Crimson and Kayala.
Criss Angel was born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos on December 19, 1967, on Long Island, New York. He became fascinated with magic at an early age. In 2005, the young magician created a television show called Mindfreak. In the show, he performed incredible stunts such as walking on water and levitating above a building. In other episodes he also floated between two buildings and made a Lamborghini disappear. An escape artist, magician, stunt person, and illusionist, Criss brings his audience to a magic world.
