Disturbed released their sixth studio album, Immortalized on August 21, 2015. Distributed through Reprise Records, Immortalized sold 98,000 copies in its first week and debuted atop of the Billboard 200 chart. Singles from the album included "The Vengeful One," "The Light," and "The Sound of Silence."
Immortalized received mixed reviews from critics, with many of them saying that music on the album sounded too much like material from previous albums. That said, fans still enjoyed the album, with over 260,000 copies sold in the United States as of February 2016.
Disturbed is an alternative rock and heavy metal band that has its origins in Chicago. The group was founded in 1996 and consists of David Draiman, Dan Donegan, John Moyer, and Mike Wengren. Founding member Steve Kmack left Disturbed in 2003 and was replaced by Moyer. To date, Disturbed has released six studio albums and gone on numerous tours throughout the US and the rest of the world.
Disturbed's first album, The Sickness (2000) brought them to the attention of the music scene. The band joined Ozzfest 2001, making Disturbed a household name in the industry. Later in the same year, they teamed up with Marilyn Manson for their tour.
Disturbed's second album, Believe, was praised as being even better than the first one by Disturbed's growing fan crowd, who were always looking to buy Disturbed tickets.
