Concert Tickets
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concert!! Dolly put on a fantastic concert. Sang many of her hits. Venue is not really designed for such an event. No tiered seating with just rows of seats one behind the other made for much difficulty seeing anything except the persons in front of you. Being in the middle made it especially hard to see because of the main aisle being the exit point for practically everyone-people coming and going throughout the concert, and a cameraman standing right in the line of vision for the stage. Not nearly enough parking spaces with attendees having to be bused to area parking lots. Despite all these problems we really enjoyed the performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was so disappointed! My husband and I paid several hundred dollars to see Dolly and I never saw her! The reason being that the venue was so bad and so poorly managed that once Dolly came on stage and everybody stood up in front of you, you didn't have a chance to see her. Not just me, but hundreds of people most taller than I. There were big TV screens on either side of the stage, but the concert was not broadcast on the screens. I wrote to Jacks Casino about the terrible venue but got no response from them. I waited years to see Dolly and I'm still waiting to see her. I love Dolly's music but what a huge disappointment for all of Dolly's fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Lady Dolly really speaks to her audience and shows her appreciation to the following her fans have given her over the years. One classy show she puts on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dolly was fantastic, the venue was not! Dolly was truly amazing! I was underwhelmed with the venue. Being brand-new, I expected more. Lines were chaotic, there was only one exit with several flights of steep stairs and no one to direct people traffic. It was like a stampede and I was knocked around several times. The only taxi waiting area was almost two blocks away on a street corner with no covering. We stood in the rain for almost an hour with other patrons waiting for a cab.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME CONCERT Words can't express how I felt about Dolly Parton s concert! I didn't realize how talented she is. All her songs were inspirational, had a story behind it or a special memory for me. All day today I shared parts of the concert with a friend. My friends and coworkers were jealous that they didn't get to partake. Last night's venue was well worth the price of ticket and a experience Ill never forget. Ill always love you Dolly

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dolly Is Amazing, But We Needed Her Backup Band! So honored to attend Dolly's sold out 10/01/2016 Hollywood Bowl concert performance. The paradox of her authenticity on the inside vs. her artificial/imitation outside lives on, and her voice, her musicianship and her multi-instrument proficiency are always impressive. What the 10,000 or so fans who were not in the first 50 rows (AKA: Box Seats) needed was a little more production excitement on stage. The 3 guys backing Dolly were great, of course! But a drum machine instead of a real drummer in Hollywood, CA? Are you kidding? Employ a real orchestra for a couple of nights for the Hollywood Bowl. Show some movies/slides on a huge screen for these gigantic venues were the majority of us were sitting 1/4 mile away or more from the stage, but still paying north of one hundred per ticket. Why would you ask about the view and not ask about the sound quality in this evaluation of a concert??

Dolly Parton Biography

While she may be small in size, Dolly Parton is a giant in the country music industry. Whether on television, the big screen, or on a record, Dolly Parton delivers some of the most memorable performances by any female artist of her time.

Before she was selling out of tickets for all her shows and recording country music hits, Dolly Parton was a musically talented little girl from a small town in Tennessee with big dreams of conquering Nashville. After knocking audiences' socks off at the Grand Ole Opry House, it was only a matter of time for Dolly Parton.

Just out of high school, Dolly Parton began songwriting and singing in Nashville, the heart of country music in the United States. Dolly Parton is more than a petite beauty with a soulful singing voice, and that quickly became clear when she branched out into other aspects of entertainment. Dolly Parton appeared in television specials and eventually on the big screen in films like Steel Magnolias and 9 to 5, (which also happened to be a hit single of hers). 9 to 5 has since become a Broadway musical sensation, and Dolly Parton wrote a good portion of the music herself.

To this day, Dolly Parton continues to release albums on a regular basis.
