Pop group Fifth Harmony was formed on the second season of the popular show, The X Factor and consists of Ally Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, and Dinah Hansen. All five singers had successfully passed auditions to appear as soloists on The X Factor, however none of them passed the Judges’ House stage of the competition. At the end of bootcamp they were formed as a group by Simon Cowell, which qualified them for the “Groups” category.

Although the women progressed far in the “Groups” category of the show they ultimately finished in 3rd place. Although the group was discouraged, they were voted “New Pop Superstar of 2013” by Popdust Magazine soon after the season two finale of The X Factor.

After releasing a series of cover songs on YouTube they embarked on their first tour, titled the “Harmonize America Mall Tour.” The tour was in support of their debut EP, Better Together which was released in October 2013.

In February 2015, the group released their first full length album, Reflection, which debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, with 80,000 units sold. In support of the album, Fifth Harmony is currently on the “Reflection Tour,” which began in February and is scheduled to run through September 2015.
