Glengarry Glen Ross is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by David Mamet. The drama premiered in London in 1983 and soon after transferred to Broadway, opening March 25, 1984, and closing nearly a year later. The Broadway production was nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Play and Best Director, and Joe Mantegna won the Tony for Best Featured Actor. The play has been revived several times, including a 2005 Broadway production that won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play, and was also made into a 1992 film starring Jack Lemmon and Kevin Spacey.
