Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great show but... Tears for Fears sounded great! Hall & Oates...eh..I was mildly disappointed. They did not stick to their original sound on the big hits, they did some type of jazz-rock infused version which sounded fine, but wasn't what I expected to hear. I think that type of artistic liberty is ok for a song or two, but when you do it with all of the hits, it falls flat. Also, the volume was way too high for Hall & Oates...the decibel level was on par with metal shows I've been to..lol...I think toning the volume down a bit and sticking to the "how it sounds on the radio" for the big hits would have made this 5 stars

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic start, apathetic end I have loved both of these bands since childhood and it was my first time seeing them. Tears for fears sounded fantastic all the way through and brought great energy and feeling to the night, sounding just as good if not better than on the studio album classics. The hall and Oates however seemed hollow dispite greater lighting and bigger band. The band was tight but lead singer seemed quite egotistical and gave the air like he had done it 1000 times and wasn't really feeling it anymore. Just going through the motions it seemed. Sadly it didn't sound half as good as on the record. Overall had a great time and would see tears for fears 1000 times over. Hall and Oates I think I'll stick to the recorded versions from now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great concert, horrendous queue management We missed the first part of Tears for Fears because we were crammed into a half mile long Kill zone with thousands of other people, with no police or medics should anything have happened. People were shoving and no one knew what to expect with regards to the line. I tried looking up prior to the show what I could and couldn’t bring, but couldn’t find any information. If only that was somehow included in an email or something the day before. I ended up having to throw away a $50 umbrella. The show as great, the ore-show not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Show! The show was fabulous from beginning to end. Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings were wonderful and I'll watch for the documentary. Trombone Shorty blew the roof off the arena! Hall & Oates did all of their hits and I'll think of the show every time I hear them on the radio.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Music and memories from two GREAT groups Both bands were great! Good to hear some oldies but goodies. Both were well rehearsed and tight. Only complaint I have is the venue... This venue has never been the best acoustically. Lead vocals tend to get lost in the acoustics. Especially noticed during Hall and Oates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Concert I enjoyed the concert especially the opening acts especially Allen Stone. Tears for Fears were great and ended the set with the all time favorite "Shout!!!" the crown went wild. Hall and Oats were on point and soulful as usual. They played all the greats and others. The musicians were awesome! there were a few feedback issues with the mics from time to time but nothing really distracting

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super fun time Opening act was good, and a pleasant surprise. Tears for Fears and Hall and Oates didn't disappoint. Both bands played all their hits and TfF surprised with a great cover of Radiohead's Creep. Only complaint was that there were a few audio issues here and there (was sometimes hard to hear the vocals and there were a couple of times that the mic feedback was loud). All in all a great show.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED IT!! The show was awesome. I truly enjoyed seeing people of all races, ages, and life experiences come together to enjoy a great performance, by a great band. I stood up from the beginning of the show till the end. There were several other attendees that came towards me and we all danced together. That is what it's about, that's how it SHOULD be. Again, amazing show!!

Hall and Oates

Audiences who enjoy acts like Hall and Oates know that pop music and rock music are generally considered to be the types of music that the broadest audience will listen to. Pop and Rock artists target the "mainstream" through the use of catchy rhythms, melodies, and lyrics. Pop and rock music is often ranked in charts based on record sales, airplay, or a combination of both.
