About Howie Mandel

In 1955, Howie Mandel was born in Toronto, Canada. During an amateur night in 1979, he was dared to perform at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Howie Mandel's comedy career began when a producer in the audience cast him in Make Me Laugh, a comedy game show. In 1982, Howie Mandel began the role of Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the television drama St. Elsewhere.
