Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Buffett Bonanza Jimmy had not played in Sacramento for 28 years, but the crowd greeted him with enthusiasm and was inspired by the energy of his performance and that of his Band. His solo performance for his final song, He went to Paris, was mythical for it's emotional intensity. The crowd adored him.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Always a Great Concert! Great Venue for any concert! The place was PACKED but still plenty of services for all and lots of open space for dancing! Expected to see ZZTop, but Jerry Jeff Walker was and awesome substitute!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Jimi , please play some different music the weather was beautifull so any concert would be great . the tailgate partuy was the best ever , but the last three times Ive seen Jimi hes played the same songs . I get it its what the crowd asks for , but change it up a bit , and stay out of endorsing politics

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding energy Show was great. Upbeat and so much fun. All the folks wearing land shark and cheeseburger gear were a hoot. Jimmy had great music . The only problem was getting into the venue. Took almost an hour to get in through the gates. Drink lines an bathroom lines unreal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concert! I have seen Jimmy many times and this ranked up there as one of my favorite concerts. He played all the songs we wanted to hear and the sound was great! This was also the first opportunity for my 3 kids to see Jimmy, they loved it. Cudos!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Time This was a very good concert - have always been a Jimmy Buffet fan and he puts on a good show. I do think that TicketNetwork service charges are extremely high for an online purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buffett concert in Irvine Drunkest concert I ever attended. Music disrupted by no-stop drunk crowd conversations. Of course if you were one of the "hammered" attendees you would think it awesome.

Jimmy Buffett was born on Christmas Day, 1946, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Buffett grew up in Alabama and began to take up guitar while attending the University of Southern Mississippi. Fresh out of college with a love of music, Jimmy headed to Nashville. Not long after arriving in Nashville in 1969, he began to build up connections in the business which ultimately led to his first record deal. He first two attempts were commericial failures. After traveling to Miami, Florida, for a gig, only to find it was not going to happen, he went for a drive down the Florida A1A and found himself in Key West, the place that would become his adoptive home and inspiration for several of his songs.

It was in Key West that Jimmy Buffett created the tropical rock, country, and folk-infused sound he is now known for. His third album, 1973's A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean contained the single "Why Don't We Get Drunk?", a song that is now a staple of any Buffett concert. Over the next quarter century, Jimmy Buffet would release a number of successful albums including 1977's Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes, 1985's Songs You Know by Heart, and 1992's Boats, Beaches, Bars & Ballads, but he is best known for his catchy singles. The songs "Margaritaville" and "Cheeseburger in Paradise" are among his most popular songs and have even produced their own restaurant chains. Other singles include "Come Monday," "Hey Good Lookin'," and "It's Five O'clock Somewhere," recorded with Alan Jackson.

Both "Margaritaville" and "Cheeseburger in Paradise" have been turned into successful restaurant chains. Buffett is now a smash success, but he still takes time out to tour, most recently on his "Workin' n' Playin" tour in 2015.
