Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great show and atmosphere in Boston This is the first time I saw Josh Groban show. Super show with touches of humor , we could see all the talents of Josh on drums , piano and duet . Sarah Mclachlan has been up and delivered a superb performence as we espect. It's a great singer, she sings like these albums.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible concert! This was a truly amazing concert. Sarah McLachlan was absolutely incredible as always. I just loved her stripped down performance, and the fact that she provided her own accompaniment. Few artists can hold an audience captive with just their voice and one other instrument, but Ms. McLachlan is one of them. She sang all the well-known favorites, my favorite being her slower darker version of "Sweet Surrender," and even treated us to a couple of new songs. It was truly an honor to see a performer of her caliber perform live, and if I ever get the chance to see her again, you can be sure I will take it. Josh Groban was of course also spectacular. Apart from his angelic voice, he has such a warm and personable stage presence and a knack for immediately connecting with the audience. I think part of what made his performance such a pleasure to watch was the fact that HE seemed just as thrilled to be there as his audience. I also loved the fact that he performed a song from the show in which he will make his Broadway debut this fall. It was a lovely gift to those of us who won't have the means or opportunity to see him in New York. Hands down my favorite part of the concert was when Josh Groban and Sarah McLachlan performed a duet arrangement of Sarah McLachlan's song, "Angel." Words cannot describe the beauty. I would recommend this concert obviously to anyone who is a fan of Josh Groban OR Sarah McLachlan, but also to anyone who enjoys vocals-centered music and appreciates incredibly high quality live performances.

Josh Groban Biography

Singer Josh Groban was born on February 27, 1981 in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout his childhood, Josh Groban was focused on becoming an actor, but during the summers of 1997 and 1998 he attended the Interlochen Center for the Art Camp in Michigan. At camp, Josh Groban studied music theater and also took vocal lessons. Upon graduating for the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts in 1999 he enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University, only to drop out four months later after being offered a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records.

Josh Groban began making a name for himself the same year, first working for singer David Foster as a rehearsal singer on high-profile events, such as the 1999 inauguration of former California Governor Gray Davis and as a stand-in for Andrea Bocelli, while David Foster rehearsed “The Prayer” with Celine Dion in preparation for the 1999 Grammy Awards. That year’s Grammy’s host, Rosie O’Donnell was impressed with Josh Groban’s singing abilities and invited him onto her show, which led to him making two appearances on the Fox comedy-drama, Ally McBeal.

Around the same time, Josh Groban began performing at many benefit shows and he also recorded his debut self-titled album, which was released in 2001. The album would go on to become double-platinum by 2002.

Fast forward to today, and Josh Groban has continued to record albums, tour, and perform at various major events, such as at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Norway and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2002 and Super Bowl XXXVII in 2003. Josh Groban has released a total of six studio albums, most recently Stages in 2015.
