Micah S. Katt Williams was born on September 2, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was raised in Dayton, which is approximately one hour north of the city. Katt Williams was an exceptionally smart child. He learned how to read at a very young age but later on purposely flunked a test to avoid a scholarship. Instead of an academic career Katt Williams started taking interest in music and comedy. He quickly worked his way up to becoming a local personality, and soon Katt Williams was a household name on the BET network, where he was part of shows such as "Comic View." But that was still only the beginning of his success. According to his bio on Comeday Central, Katt Williams' extensive resume includes the MTV show "Wild n' Out," "NYPD Blue," and "Girlfriends", "The Tracy Morgan Show", "My Wife and Kids", and he provided the voice for an animated "Boondocks" character, a pimp named Slickback. In addition, he is a frequent guest in music videos of his hip hop artist friends.

Among them are "Friday After Next," "Epic Movie," "Norbit," and his latest work Katt Williams: "American Hustle - The Movie."
