La Cage Aux Folles Tickets

This musical farce features music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and a book by Harvey Fierstein. The show premiered on Broadway in 1983 and was a huge hit, garnering nine Tony Award nominations and winning six Tonys, including Best Musical, Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical. The show ran for four years, during which time a West End production was also launched. In 2010, a Broadway revival began starring Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge. The show received 11 Tony Award nominations and won awards for Best Musical Revival, Best Actor in a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical. Although the Broadway production has closed, you can still find La Cage Aux Folles tickets for the national tour, which runs well into 2013.

La Cage Aux Folles is set in Saint-Tropez. Georges owns a flamboyant night club called La Cage, and Albin, also known as drag queen "Zaza," is his partner. The gay couple is very happy together, until family life gets complicated. When Georges' son Jean-Michel gets engaged to Anne Dindon, he's afraid to tell his future inlaws the truth.
